Important Dates for High School Registration
Wednesday, January 26, 12:30pm – Bishop Carroll Application lunch meeting (location To Be Announced)
Tuesday February 1, 12:30pm – Bishop O’Byrne IB Application meeting (location To Be Announced)
Thursday February 3, 6:30pm– Virtual Information Night for Parents
Friday, February 11 – Program of Choice applications DUE.
ANY IB application forms, ANY AP forms, Bishop Carroll, Spanish Program, Marching Band or Hockey Skills Academy forms are due to Ms. Dunnett. PLEASE LEAVE THEM WITH YOUR TEACHER OR AT THE FRONT OFFICE.
Monday, February 28
- ALL registration forms which have not been handed in are due . Please leave them with your teacher or at the front office. ALL students must notify Ms. Dunnett which High School they will be registering at on or before this date. Students who do not will be automatically registered at their designated High School.
- Programs of Choice will notify applicants the status of their application, accepted or declined.
March 8-11
ALL students will complete registration at St. Augustine. Please note this will be done in class with the assistance of Ms. Dunnett.
June
You should receive a letter / phone call from your High School regarding an opportunity to meet your TA. It is important that we have your parents correct email address / mailing address for this reason.
Middle of August
Your schedule should be available in Powerschool in the middle of August. If this schedule is incorrect or is really unbalanced (for example 3 or 4 cores in one semester), please contact the High School.

Students have gone through this booklet in class with the School Counsellor.

PARENT INFORMATION VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
On Thursday, February 3 at 6:30pm, there will be a virtual presentation providing general information to parents regarding graduation requirements, designated school and programs of choice and course selection in High School. A zoom link will be forwarded to all grade 9 parents prior to February 3.

Please review the document below regarding the timeline for High School registration. Please note that students who are absent due to illness or who are learning from home will be accommodated once they return to school should they miss a deadline. This timeline has been discussed with students and is also available on D2L.
